Less is More Earth tones :D

Hi there my lovelies, Today I made a card for LIM the challenge is for Earth tones
With this card I used a stencil by Stencil Girl S223 and a sentiment from Donna Downey. I have deliberately inked twice and off register to give a shadowing effect.
This card.... the stamp is from Bee Crafty and inspired by Banksi, sentiment by Bee Crafty,

Thank you for stopping I'd love to hear your comments and am so happy that you chose to follow!! Welcome to this blog my newest follower Aussie Annie from  Australia!! Thank you and lovely to see you all, hugs Gay x

Both of these are gorgeous Gay.
I love the simplicity and how you have created shadow on the first - gorgeous!
There is something so poignant about the little girl and that sentiment - for some reason it pulls my heart strings - stunning stamping.
Have a lovely weekend Karen x

Two fabulous cards Gay! Oh how I love that you managed the Earth Tones LIM challenge so beautifully. I got hopelessly stuck for ideas - although was delighted to find my upcycled Spellbinders packaging was picked by the gals :) Looking back, I seem to have a mention every 13 months or so - just as well really 'cos it always sends me into a delighted spin:)

Hope all is well with you - I still follow and always peek but don't often comment. Blame the Snippets Playground and taming folk like Sarn! Tee, hee!!

Hugs, Di xx

I really like the peripheral fading of your stencil - it creates a real focal point for the flower and the key!

Both these cards are absolutely delightful, Gay! I love the offset technique you used on the first card, and the variation in sentiment color on the second. You are on a roll, my friend, and should immediately sit down and make more cards today.

The flower card is my fave but I do like the blending of the colours on the second. Great designs. :)
