A little piercing for LIM and Rudolph day

Hello there my friends welcome,
I've had a little time to play and I've made some cards, three for Sarn's Rudolph day Challenge and incorporated one for LIM which is piercing or pricking! I've had the best fun I've had for ages, check it out.......

Here is a larger pic to show the pricking and another to show how Santa is supported off the card, he is jumping around full of the joys of spring. He knows he is on hols until December and although it's cold he is well equipped, that beard is wonderful insulation LOL The paper piercing is laborious but oddly therapeutic, in fact I enjoyed it very much! Thanks Chrissie and Jen!

This Christmas stocking was great for colouring in and I smothered it in glitter, yum! The stamp is Impression Obsession from last year, in fact Santa is also IO I bought mine at the Craft Barn

The card below is my final card for Rudolph day, it is a Penny Black stamp, Christmas Star! I stamped and embossed in gold detail powder. After bleaching the inside of the image I painted with H20s and glazed with Diamond glaze. Just before the glaze dried I sprinkled some mica powder into it but I think it went a bit blobby so the next time I will have to do it another way!

So that's what happens here when I have a bit of spare time. It's so cold I hardly want to leave the house!!
Thank you so much for stopping by , hugs Gay x

Up in the Air for LIM

Hi folks, I hope this finds you healthy and happy and if not I really hope you're all good soon :0)

Here is my card for LIM  This week the challenge is for 'Something up in the air' and I have chosen a butterfly. The aircraft/balloon stamps that I have were not inspiring me this week and I've used them all before.............

The stamp is from Kaiserkraft and I just love the image. I stamped in black and raised the butterfly ( with Pinflair glue gel) which has been coloured with watercolour pencils.

Update:
I'm sorry I haven't been very communicative lately, I have had a few health issues to work out for myself and my sister has had surgery and is living with us until things improve for her. Time is taken up with hospital visits, District Nurse's visits and all that illness entails.
Luckily my health is now back on course although I've a bit of a head cold just now, I can manage that LOL!!!
I love to take part in the LIM challenges :0)
I will do my best to visit you when I can,
Hugs Gay x

A little less is more :0) And some happy mail:0)

Hello there and welcome.
Yet again it's been over a week since I was here :{ Hey Ho! I made a card, big smiles......for LIM!
I am so sad that Mandy has decided to leave, she will be sorely missed but I wish her the very best of luck with her lovely new venture and thank her so much with Chrissie for their unfailing commenting and all round magnificence over the last 2 years.

So onto my card, the challenge being colour this week was, Kraft and Kreme.

I have used stamps by Dylusions, 'Around the edge' and Inkadinkado 'Hearts and Love' I added the circles that have been stamped and then cut out of kraft card. Sentiment by Lindsay Mason 'Love That Binds'

Then I woke this morning to some very happy mail, both Sarn and Dotty Jo have been super lovely bloggy buddies and made me a very happy bunny! two beautiful cards.....
The first beauty is from Dotty Jo at 'Just a Dotty Pudding' what a smasher of a card!! Expertly masked and inked AND I had a little surprise inside, :-D Thank you so much Jo, for thinking of me. You are a real sweetie, so kind and you cheered me up no end.
And this totally wonderful clean and simple card from my lovely thoughtful buddy Sarn from 'Stamping for Pleasure' You're so right Sarn, it's right up my street!! Lurrvve the colour combo and clean images, yum!!
Thank you very much for thinking of me.
