My CASology first :o)

Hello there and welcome this Good Friday, I hope you're well, it's great to see you here, thank you for stopping by.
For quite a while now I have been meaning to make a card for the CASology challenge
I was visiting Darnell  her lovely card prompted me and today I had the opportunity............

So thanks Darnell :0)
There are some beautiful examples of the  design team's clever cards, very inspirational ladies, well done :0) The challenge is a word this time and the word is HOPE, at Easter entirely appropriate! Searching through my stamps I could only find one stamp with anything to do with hope on it,

This is a photo of my little gem :0) A Christmas cracker win, it's going to be so useful I can just tell, already on this card I used it for the corners (small on tag!) and for the little arrow.

A close up of the daisy's heart, lovely little beads!
I used a Daisy stamp by Hero arts, some washi tape and the sentiment is by PTI. Hand drawn stem and blacked edge for definition :0)

That's all from me today, I hope you have a lovely weekend and miss the snow that's been forecast  for us here in GB brrrrr -2 degrees overnight, it's blooming cold still!! Hugs Gay x

Beads???

Well yes, that is what is required at Less is More this week! So beads it is!!

 I had to take this one upside down :0) to show the clear embossed circles

Hi folks, lovely to see you! I hope you're lovely and warm, it's not very warm here and I've had the heating on all day :{ Perhaps I need to chop up some logs or get scrubbing to warm up, making cards isn't the most active of hobbies LOL
My card has an old bead bracelet on it, the elastic has gone and I doubt if I can be bothered to put new in! So I twisted it and adhered it to my card, it was a stinker to photograph, hope you like:D
I used;
Spellbinders NestabilitiesCircles large
Crafters workshop, Mini Capricious
Dreamweaver translucent paste
Perfect Pearls, Gold
Love sentiment from Printworks

Frame it!!!

Hello my friends, today I have a card for LIM, Chrissie and Jen have asked for a card with a frame, this one had me thinking, a full rubbish bin later :0) this is what my card looks like..

 I tried lots of different ways to make a frame I stamped and played and stamped and cursed (quietly and to myself) finally I thought, it's probably best to go for simple. So I dug out my frames!

 The little girl looks a little like me when I was cross as a child, not much different to now actually LOL Aaaaanyway she makes me smile, stamp by La Blanche, the frame is from Paper Artsy , Ink and the dog collection. The sentiment is from a set I bought from the USA and I cannot remember who it was by, sorry.

Today I've spent making furniture from that clever Swedish company, talk about stressed, a wardrobe nearly finished just to find that the inside panel was back to front! Oh my Goodness me, what a royal pain!!! I have vacated the bedroom because there were things flying LOL Much safer here talking to you LOL

Thank you so much for visiting, I really do appreciate your comments. I will do my best to get back to you, hugs Gay x

A bit dotty and a little stripy for LIM!

Yup that's me a bit dotty and a few little stripes thrown in for good measure!
Hello there my crafty friends, it's great to be back with you again although I'm a bit late for LIM this week and I've missed a couple of weeks :{
Chrissie and Jen asked for a one layer card with dots and stripes this week, here's mine

Stamps from Hot off the Press, Crafty Individuals and a little beauty from Magenta, that's the dotty one! I used a die cut from Spellbinders circles and inked with distress inks, having masked the sentiment first! That's me done.

I hope you've had a lovely crafty week and thank you for stopping by, hugs Gay x

Tattered florals from me!!

Hi there crafty friends,
I'm just posting a quick entry into Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Challenge. My card is a one layer CAS card but I have layered the inks!!!. I've masked with some tattered floral die cuts, cut out of Eclipse masking roll. Loads of Distress inks and not much else!
I hope you like it!!

 Here you can see some of the masking process although I have to admit I masked and inked and stamped and masked and inked many times to get this multicoloured effect. There is a white (un inked ) band around some of the petals but I loved the effect so it didn't worry me.
I'm still working my way down my very long list of lovely comments from my last two posts, I apologise if I haven't got to you yet , it does take me a very long time. My poor old computer is fading fast and I cannot get my head around blogsy yet!
So thank you for dropping by, I will see you soon, hugs Gay x
